   Researched this myself, and yes it’s possible, but definitely not worth the trouble. A digital camera is way overkill as a webcam. Instead, here’s a VERY cheap, yet very good webcam. Just make sure you download/update its drivers as the user reviews state (that’s why it’s so cheap):http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000P9T…

   Anythings possible, if you look hard enough, my eyetoy (ps2 game camera) works as one with drivers i found on the net! good luck
