I own this camera, but unfortunately left the charger at a friends house.
I am aware that on some cameras it is possible to charge the battery by simply plugging it into to the USB port (same for loading pics/vids). Does anyone know if this camera will do this?

Umm…. I don’t think so. My camera is a similar model to what you have, and plugging it to the port doesnt charge it. I believe it’s only for loading pics and vids.
