You see, when I tried to take a picture, it suddenly displayed ‘Turn the camera off and on again.’ I assume that the lens are stuck because when I turn it off, the lens won’t retract- it just makes buzzing noises when it tries to retract. I don’t want to buy another one and I’m asking if I can take it to a repairman and have it fixed.
Can they fix it?

I like Sony’s and Canons. I had a Sony Cybershot that i had repaired by Precision Camera fortunately my Canon rebel never broke. You can have any type of camera repaired or any reason, its their job. Plus a lense getting stuck is a common error aswell.
Probally if you go to the store you have a better chance.
They usually do.
