Paul is dead wrong. I recover deleted files etc. all the time. That goes clear back to the days of Norton Disc DR. in the early Dos days. There are all kinds of software out there for that job. I use R Studio for most of my recoveries, primarily to recover “lost” picture files for customers. The problem is once the original info has been written over some data may not be retrievable. If you took other pictures over the deleted movie, you may be out of luck. For all those other readers, if you delete something and then want it back, don’t write over it. Save the card or what ever the media and it can be recovered in almost all cases. This even includes hard drives by the way, so just deleting files from a drive before giving it away or selling it DOES not CLEAN it and every bit of that deleted data can be recovered.
