I have a kodak easy share C913 and it can make videos. But the quality is terrible! I am thinking about getting a canon but I need to know if it can make videos. Also if it can, can you hear the sound on the camera when you play the video, instead of having to upload it onto the computer to hear the sound?

well,… compared to Kodak digital cameras a Canon digital camera has much great quality regarding video recording and when you play it on your computer it’s compatible to Windows Media Player no need to convert the video… unlike a few Kodak cameras which you have to convert it in order that it’ll work and Canon cameras has a built-in speaker on it…

Canon cameras are so much better than Kodak. Of course they record videos. And, of course you can hear the audio when played back in the camera…
All the SD Series have video capability and I find the video quality great. Lets face it…yhey are not for extended video making but fill the void when you need short video clips. At your point of puchase ask for a quick demo.
Why not step up to the SD1200IS upgrade which has superior video recording capability, even while listening through it tiny built-in speaker. It even records piano playing.
