Poor quality, very slow response, just an all around poor performer. I purchased this based on Canon's reputation, my experience with my Canon DSLR and reviews I read here and other sites. Maybe I just got a "lemon", but the picture quality was poorer than that of an OLD nikon point and shoot I had, with only 3 MP resolution. Low Light? FORGET IT! Any kind of speed in capturing the moment? Not likely. I would recommend buying a slightly higher priced camera, maybe it it the old processor in this model, or maybe, as I said, I just got a "lemon"> All I know is that all the pictures I tried to take on a recent "once-in-a-lifetime" trip came out poor or un-viewable. Ruined. And I thought that video would be a great added feature? Nope. Very slow, poor quality and slow response. Only digital zoom as well, and the digital zoom is AWFUL! Will take about eleven pics and that's it. Be prepared to spend another $15. 00 to #20. 00 for a 2 or 8GB memory card.
