Oh no…not this question again! You are still deciding about this camera and the SX110 IS. Trust me (and all the others) it’s a good camera. You will be VERY happy with it.
So, what are you waiting for? the next model to come out? lol

Sure! This camera has all the right features for any point and shoot type photographer willing to willing to spend a little time to learn to use it correctly. The LCD screen is decent sized (2 1/2″), but should only be used when the camera is supported or on a tripod. 10 MP is good resolution for a point and shoot. Decent flash power with nice close-up capabilities and a decent (20x) zoom range.
Not an interchangable lens camera, so not geared for the advanced amature, but a very flexable for a quality desiring point and shoot user.

If I was in the market for a P&S camera, that is the one I would buy.
I like having the manual controls because they actually let you learn about photography and take some real photos, instead of being stuck on nothing but Auto.
    The 20x zoom is fantastic!
The flip out screen is just the most wonderful thing out. You will learn to adore it for so many reasons.
When I moved up to DSLR’s, I knew I would miss the flip out screen and I do…….. I still do and always will.
Go for it, that camera is an excellent choice.
