I currently have the Sony Cybershot and i like it mostly cause of its size. But Im DIEING to get the Canon G9. I like the fact that the cybershot is a point and shoot camera and can easily be stored. Is it the same thing with the G9? I’ve been looking at the website and it looks tiny compare to most Canons. Fill me in please.

depends on which cybershot you have. the g9 is probably much better in terms of image quality. however body wise it’s gonna be a lot chunkier than most cybershots. won’t fit in a pants pocket too easily and you’ll probably find a small case for it to lug it around. the size of it is approximately 2x4x5 inches. my estimation.
go to your local retail store and just check it out in person.
You will have to tell us which Sony you have … they make all different sizes.
Remember that NONE of your memory sticks will work with the Canon.
