I found a great solution for my LCD computer screen. half distilled vinegar and half distilled water. you can get the distilled water by the gallon in the grocery store...but you probably knew that. I would pour it on a clean lint free cloth, I use a plain white t-shirt. I am not a camera expert, but i bet this would be sufficient.

Micro fiber cloth. It will remove oily smudges without using any chemicals. Just wipe gently and presto, clean screen.
Micro fiber cloth sometimes comes with eye glasses. You can buy a pack of 13" x 13" cloths from Target, Walmart, Kmart, or any big box store for about $5 for a pack of five. Look in the automotive section where they sell car washing products.
I keep my camera wrapped in a micro fiber towel. It protects the camera while cleaning the LCD screen.
