I have a pretty decent digital camera, nothing spectacular, but when i have taken the pictures on manual mode with tripod, they still turn out blurry. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks in advance. The camera has 12x optical zoom with equivalent of 36-432 mm)

  1. Mere Mortal says:

    Mount to tripod
    Zoom all the way out
Place in “Landscape” mode. (or Infinite Focus)
    Use Spot Meter mode.
    Center moon.
    Trip with Self-Timer
Better hurry, it is about half out of shadow now.

make sure it’s on auto focus. I chose to set it to manual mode to f/8 (highest my camera will go), then started at 1/250 to get basic shots, and bracketed every time +/- 2/3 EV. You can get some different kind of shots depending on what you like.
