I know I have the line to put it up and the right software except I don’t know which place in my camera to hook up the line. I can’t find it. Can anyone help me? I know if I can find out the shape and size of the place where i’m supposed to plug into to, but i don’t know the size or shape. Can someone please help me?

I am not sure what do you mean. Anyway, here it goes.
There is one side of your cable that goes to a USB plug in your computer. The other side is usually USB but is a mini USB. You plug the mini USB side into your camera and the computer and/or the camera will guide you through.
I think this plugs sometimes are hidden under a small rubber cover, or it maybe next to the battery.
I have a Canon A570 IS and that is the way it is done.
However, I was a little confused by your question.
    Hope this helps.
