   It appears there is no such option. You may have seen the range of speeds available but it’s all automatic. Certain scene modes utilize them in low light situations.
   You can probably force the camera to use a longer shutter speed by setting the ISO to 100 in a dimly lit environment but you wont get anything slower than 1/8ths of a second.
