Your camera should have come with a base charger. Mine is white. All you do is plug the base into your computer via USB. It takes on average 2-3 hours to FULLY charge mine.
Also, check your owners manual.

    most sony cameras have a docking charger to charge its batteries…
    I don’t buy sony cameras for this reason (among many others) what if you’re in the field and you ran out of battery charge?
    better look for models that uses AAs and not proprietary ones…

    If your camera takes AA, buy rechargeable batteries. It must say NiMH on it. You also buy a battery charger if one did not come with your camera. My charger will charge batteries in 15 minutes. Remember to first charge a rechargeable battery Before inserting it into camera.

    pop the battery outta the camera and set it on the charger….it should take about an hour or so
