As far as I know you can only adjust the resolution settings to crop to 4.4 megapixels.
Getting a free and easy photo editor like photoscape will solve your problems…

Better, seiously, to zoom in, or use your legs, as in, walk closer to the subject. To “crop” a photo using software (or with the camera), you lose quite a bit of data that way.
