The only way is to go into setup and find format. Once you format, the pictures will be gone.
You can delete all of the pictures from the camera. There is an option in the menu to delete all pictures. Play with the menus or look in the manual.
i have same cam and i delete the pics when the cam is connected to the computer, i open from “my computer” the SONY hardware and from there i delete the folder “DCIM” . But don’t forget to save somewhere in ur computer the pics coz after u will lose’em for good. this is the only way i know, directly from cam dunno if possible.
it will ask you on your computer screen after downloading the pictures do you want them taken off the memory stick …just push yes
yeah.. I have the same camera as you and I was wondering that!
Hi there,
There are different models of the sony cybershot and I probably have the older model, Basically what you do is have your camera on playback, select ‘all in folder’ and then delete.
I have not seen your camera so could not tell you exactly where these buttons are, the best I can do is to go through everything using my camera as an example.
Your buttons may not be in the same place but the process is probably the same so, do the following bit by bit keeping in mind your buttons may be in a different place and it should work for you.
Turn on your camera
Turn your camera to the first option (this is playback option, where you see the image you have taken and your screen is still, it has a symbol of an arrow pointing right)
There is a double button to the top right of the camera, the button is grey. This button has a W on one side and a T on the other, press the side with the W once and you will see more than one photo on your screen.
On the bottom left of your camera you have three buttons on top of each other, press the third one (this has a trash can symbol under it)
When you press it options appear on your screen, use the arrows on your camera to go right until ‘all in folder’ is selected, in the middle of the arrows is a round button which you click for ‘ok’, when you click this you will get the options cancel and ok, use your arrows to go to ‘ok’ and press the round button in the middle again to finalize it.
If this does not help you, get your manual and look up ‘deleting photos’ using the index at the back of the camera, this is not as difficult to follow as you think, just follow each instruction one by one.
Feel free to send me a comment if you have more questions.
Thank you ALL. I didn’t think it could be done all at once. I own the Sony CyberShot DSC-H2.
