I am not a computer techie at all, and I can’t figure it out! I plugged it into my computer using the usb cord, but nothing happened. I have some pictures that I need to send to someone, but I have to get the pictures off my camera first!

Make sure that your camera is on, then plug in the USB cord Some cameras have the option on them to download to computer some don’t. You should get a box that asks you what you want to do with the attached devise and it might give you a list like
” Upload files to computer”
“View images in slideshow”
“Do nothing” ….. etc.
Select the right option for you, or if you have a Digital camera program, then just open that and select “Import” That might help you to find your camera after you plug it in.
It would be helpful to know what kind of operating system(Windows XP or Vista) and software you had!!!
You have to go to “My Computer” then look for the drive where your device (camera) is supposed to be like (C,D, E. F, H)
