   Check your computer’s USB drivers. Do other USB devices like a USB Drive or web cam work in your computer? If they don’t, its probably a problem with your USB port / drivers.

   Put the CD back in the drive. If there’s a menu option to install drivers, do it. If not, go to Control Panel, Scanners and Cameras, click on Add Imaging Device, follow the prompts. When Windows asks where the drivers, browse to the CD drive and find the driver folder for your camera model. OR you could read the manual that came with your camera. You might find a lot of OTHER useful information…
