   You need 2 things:
   1) The USB cable that came with your camera…one end connects to your camera, the other one is a USB plug that goes into your computer
   2) Any software CD(s) that came with your camera.
   Install any software you received with your camera. This will enable your PC to recognize your camera when you connect it. Be sure to restart your computer if needed.
   Next, connect the cable to your camera and then to your computer. Your computer will probably take a little while to install all of the necessary drivers, and you may have to reboot your computer.
   After that is done, a program may pop up to help you upload your photos, but if not, click Start -> My Computer. A new “drive” should show up under My Computer. Double-click to open it, then browse through the folders until you find your images. Select them, and then Cut or Copy them. Paste the images somewhere on your computer. That’s it.
   Once you’ve verified that the images have been copied to your computer, you can format your memory card and start all over again.
