I just got a Sony Cybershot and I can’t get my computer to recognize that my camera is hooked up. I’ve looked at the manual and it really doesn’t say anything about it…does anyone have any tips for how to get my pictures onto my computer?

Did you turn your camera on?
My computer won’t recognize my camera if the camera is turned off.
Get your camera’s memory card out of your camera and insert it inside your computer’s media card reader. If your computer does not come with a built in card reader just buy a card reader from wal-mart. Be sure it will be able to read the specific card that you use with your camera. Once the card is inserted in the card reader it will just open itself and from there you can copy the pictures to your computer.
