   You can get a card reader for about $15, then you just plug it in the computer, and put the card in it,
   Make sure you get one that works with your card (SD, CF etc) then you can use it with any friends computer too.

   Go to Best Buy, Circuit City, or something similar, they might have replacement cords for it. Or go to Sony’s website and you should be able to find something there.
   Otherwises, most places have a card reader that you can buy separetely and plug your card into to transfer to your computer.

   I have cord but never used it as it is best to transfer your images by All in one Card reader.
   As this is
   easy,
   portable,
   universal on XP computers,
   safe agaist virus attack on Camera,
   safe against damage to camera due to faults in cord or PC.
