The full story is:
put card into computer and accidently clicked the button which says ok to remove all data. mom and dad will kill me!! Now if you try to view pictures it says “memory stick formatting error” and there were extremely important photos on there too! How can i fix this?

get a card reader and attempt a data recovery… card readers are usually no more than a few ££$$? (I payed £2.50 off ebay) and it is a 52 into one reader (many types of memory cards).

If you got to the point of where it says do you want to erase memory card (or something like that) you probably have the pictures on your computer now but the card is wiped clean. Scan your computer for the pictures. I have a mac and they go into iphoto
