Now my batteries finished, and I want to buy Duracell charger with Nimh batteries, the same type as my former Sony were. I think that Duracell batteries are better than Sony. Will they work with my camera? I am sorry for my very “dummy” question. Thanks in advance.

I have to assume you’re talking AA’s? Is that correct? If so any recharge batter will work well. However higher quality batteries will give you more charge cycles and perhaps longer life in the camera.
