The errors I keep getting say that windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install it. The other error says that requires interactive window station.
Please, anyone HELP!!

    The software that usually comes with cameras aren’t necessary for the camera to function and to upload photos to your computer. Usually the software is just a way to organize your photos. If you still want the software though, what fhotoace said should resolve the problem, but if not call Canon.

    With your camera disconnected from the computer, install the Canon software first. Then after you have restarted the computer, plug the USB cord in to the computer and turn on your camera.
    All should work fine after doing that.
    If you are still having problems, call 800.OK-CANON

    Have you tried plugging in your camera to the computer without installing the software?
    All you need is for the computer to recognize your camera so you can transfer files between them. If that works, you don’t need any other software.
    For photo editing, use another more powerful program like Corel or Photoshop. For organizing, IRFanview is free (still, I hope).
