   That tiny memory on most P&S cameras is to small to consider it actually usable. Running back to your computer to download them every 8 to 10 shots is silly when you can buy 2GB memory cards for under $25.

   Depending on the exact model, it might have some memory built it. Though even if it does, the actual amount will be pretty insignificant. Maybe enough to store 10-20 photos. So having a memory stick would still be practical.
