Will give you an excellent 8X10 print. 4X optical zoom, 8 megapixels, above average battery life and has manual controls in addition to auto. According to Website dpreview.com J&R Music has it for $187+ shipping A 1GB card at 8 megapixels will give you about 250 shots. The more megapixels the more memory you'll need for your memory card.
