   yeah it is good, i have one. but it is not the fancyiest camera around but since u want it for basic use, yes it is cool

   My sister has a Powershot, I’m not sure if it’s exactly this model, but it is a really good camera! I have some crappy Casio thing… I think it’s the EX S600…? Something like that. But anyways my camera sucks but her Powershot is so beastly next to mine.
   It’s a great camera!
   I don’t know that much about stop motion films, so I guess I can’t really help you there though.
