I basically want my pics to show up on my laptop right after I take them..is there a program I need? Is it even possible with my camera now? (I am planning on getting a new camera within the next few months…either a Canon rebel xti or Nikon d40…is it possible with either of those cameras?)

sorry but no if your camera is attached to anything you cannot take pictures but if you take of the usb cord,take a picture,then connect your camera to your laptop
I don’t think you can tether the H2 with a computer. I have the same model but I haven’t looked into it. IDK if the Canon or Nikon models you list can tether with a computer.
