I’ve got a canon powershot A470 digital camera.I want a memory card with more capacity. Will the Integral 2Gb SD Card be sufficient i.e will it be compatible with my camera?

A 2GB SD card should be fine. If you are concerned about compatibility, its always listed in the accessories section of your manual.
