everytime i put brand new batteries in it, after 2 minutes of it being on then it turns of and says (battery low) wtf. so i went to the store and bought the batteries that are made to last long in digital cameras and it did the same thing all the other batteries have done. what do i do. how can fix this?

Do you mean you tried the Energizer Lithium batteries? If so, then you definitely have a camera problem. I would suggest you call Canon tech / customer service and discuss the problem with them. It is certainly not normal behavior.

Don’t waste your money on rechargeable batteries now. The Lithiums give great service. If they did not work for you, then there is a problem with your camera.
