   I have that camera, and it’s never happened to me. Have you looked in the manual? If there is nothing there, try charging it for a few days and leaving it off without the battery for a while. If that doesn’t work then you should buy a new battery, or take it to a camera store or like best buy or wherever you bought it from.
   – Just a thought, are you pushing the power button for a long time? if you are just push it once. If you are just quickly pushing it, hold it down.
