please help..it was working perfectly fine yesterday, i havent dropped it or got it wet, its always in its case but this morning it jsut doesnt work. the screen stays black and it just says access…ive looked on the manual but this hasnt helped…thanks

I think it means the batteries are flat.. Try charging htem up or replacing them. If not then I suggest you go back to a camera shop and ask for some advice.
Make sure you check if the batteries are lithium or not as this may affect teh performance if you put the wrong batteries in.

Try turning it off then on. But for sure you tried that already.
Try removing everything from it, batteries (if possible), memory card, , everything that can be removed, wait 2 minutes, put it all back, then turn it on.
Or try to turn it on while charging it or when its connected to your pc.
If nothing works, best contact the place where you bought it.
the same thing happened to me and nobody from sony or any camera store would help me!
They wanted $100 min!
My mom took out the memory card and it started working fine! I put it back in and deleted some pictures and it was back to normal. You probably just need a new memory card.

Is the lens stuck closed.
Batteries fully charged.
First thing to try is replacing the batteries.
