Should I keep the battery in the camera or leave it out when I’m not using it (to save energy)? Or does that not matter?
Could I leave the battery charging overnight (I know it says that the battery only needs 1.5 hrs to recharge) or would that harm it?
Does the camera indicate how much battery life is left? Does it beep when there’s low battery?

Depends mainly on how heavily you’re using the LCD and flash.
Using alkalines and the industry-defined “average” usage averages about 200 shots.
Taking available-light pictures with the LCD turned off and using the viewfinder you can get nearly 1000. (Using the viewfinder instead of composing pictures in the LCD also reduces blurry pictures due to camera shake.)

because i had an old kodak camera with this and they didnt work at all. So why should i believe these work? Does anyone have this camera?

I’m looking into buying this camera, but so far I have ever only used rechargeable AA batteries in my cameras. I have a zillion of them and always have the option to have new batteries on hand. If I get this camera, I’ll only have the one battery, and that worries me. What’s the battery life like?
