The battery is a lithium battery pack nb-4L and I can’t find a replacement charger. If you know where to find one, that would be helpful also.
The item is new but the battery life is terrible – only lasts for 30 shots or so. It is a rechargeable battery that came with the camera so I don’t know what is going wrong? The battery is a lithium ion so I don’t why it lasts so little?
How do you check it?
I’ve had my camera for a little over a year, and recently it seems like the battery power is very short.
It’s hard to see how long it lasts because it seems fine until I put it down for a day or so. Then when I turn it on, the battery is dead and must be charged.
So quite simply, is it possible to check battery status on the PowerShot cameras, and if so, how?
I have a dsc-s500 model and the little plastic piece on the battery door has cracked. The pressure that the bateries are putting on the door is making it worse, it’s almost broken. And it’s never even been dropped! I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem with the Cybershots. Thanks.
The cord that will put the pics on the tv and will put the pics in the computer i mean. Will this charge the battery as well if it is plugged into the usb port?
