I’ve owned a Canon SD550 and have been selling many of photos from that camera to local art galleries. I want to upgrade to a newer SD but I’ve been worried about noise on my photos. I was about to buy the SD 960 but many reviews claim lots of noise in their shots. Please let me know if you know of a camera that can compare to the wonderful SD550 that is updated.

Go with a sony cybershot or a canon powershot..

but point and shoot – canon and sony are better!!
Chk out the SD series from Canon; SD850IS and 870IS are gud ones…
If u have a budget constraint, the sony’s W series is the one for u…u could get a gr8 digital camera for less than $200 (Sony w-series)….
if u r jus gonna print up 6×8 pics, u dont need much of megapixels…u can get one with 7.2 MP…like cybershot w80…from which u can print upto 12×16 inch pics with gud clarity!

I want to get a canon powershot digital camera, but there is more than one version, and I don’t know which is best. I need a widescreen, so I can get everything in the picture, without half of something being cut out of the shot. like only half of someone’s head makes it into the picture, ect. I’ve had a lot of digital cameras and taken a lot of concert photography but after being pretty disappointed with all of my expensive point and shoot cameras I just went with this Sony Cybershot W55. It takes great everyday pictures but next month I have a concert coming up and I’m just wondering what the best settings are for a concert? I’ve messed with the low lighting features and it just seems to make the camera lag really badly. any suggestions? thanks!
