Can anybody tell me? I really wanted the same one my mom has, the 1100, but it was discontinued, so I’m going to get the 1200. I know it has alot of advanced features on it, but I did hear that it doesn’t have the “Color Accent” feature, which kinda bums me out. Is that true? And what are some of the good qualities of this camera, or new effects for photos that the last version didn’t have? What are the bad things about this camera?

I don’t want to spend anymore. I just want something better for the same price if there is one.

I can’t decide which one to buy. They are almost at the same price range, both have 20x optical zoom. Almost the same features. Thanks in advance!

The kodak is an easyshare MD853 at 89.00.
The sony is a powershot DSC-S700 for 99.00. the powershot comes with a epson photo printer. What I would like to know is experience with each. Picture quality, ease of use, and battery life would be great. Also i believe the kodak comes with a rechargable battery, but i dont know about the sony. So if you know, that would also be great.

I have the S3 already, but I’ve been having problems with it – grainy pictures, and I don’t feel like I have enough control over the settings, among other things I just can’t put my finger on! Should I try to switch to the Olympus Stylus 550UZ? It seems like a good camera. Any opinions?

I think the 870 is better.
I bought the 850 3 months ago and I’m going to get the 870 ASAP. The side scrolling wheel on the 850 is ackward to turn.
Also, the 850 has a viewfinder and the 870 doesn’t. However, the 870 has a 3″ lcd screen while the 850 only has 2.5″. You don’t need a viewfinder…there kind of obsolete anyways.
The difference in the zoom will not be noticeable at all.
The 870 has a wider angle lens which will allow you to take group photos without being a huge distance away from the people.
The 850 has a little better zoom. So it comes down to wether you’d want a little extra zoom or a wider angle lens…and also the above mentioned comparisons.

I want to take nice pictures but Im not into it hardcore. I have come down to choosing between the Kodak Easyshare C875 and the Canon powershot A630. Any information that can help me choose either one of these would be great, or if someone has any advice on me getting another digital camera in the price range of 175-275 would be helpful as well. Thanks!

They are both about the same price and have almost the same features. I’m kind of leaning towards the canon because of brand name but am not sure. Ill be using the camera mainly for pics of friends and family for fun and maybe some video as well. Thnx to whoever helps me out!

I want the w230 but people say it has bad quality is that true? I like the lcd screen for the w230. Which one is better?

I am looking at getting a new camera, have never really had a good one. I have narrowed it down to 2 different Canon’s with the biggest difference being the 20X zoom on the SX10.
Now just hoping for some feedback on which is better.
