I heard they’re really good, but not sure what to get. I don’t need more than 10 megapixels because I heard MP is overrated anyway, but I want at least 6 or 7 MP. I also don’t want to spend more than $150. What should I get? Thanks

I bought the Sony DSC-S700 Cybershot after much comparison.
I chose it because it had all the features I wanted to have like
AA bateries. I did not want special batteries. They did not take as many pictures between shots. Buying proprietary batteries were expensive. AA alkaline can be used in a pinch.
I wanted Image stabilizer. Having a camera without one results in alot of blurry pictures. Sony stabilizer is excellent as is the Canon my second choice.
I wanted high sensitivity in low light. I take alot of pictures indoors.
I wanted quality and reliability.
I wanted at least 2″ monitor.
I found alot of features that that are nice. I really like the ability to zoom in on the picture I have already taken to get a closer look. Like facial expressions or details on small items.
All for about 150 bucks…This is really reasonable and takes great pictures at 7.1 mega pixels..

Well not too long ago, I bought the sony cybershot h50. it works great and everything. but there is one thing that concerns me. when I first put my eye in the viewfinder i saw nothing. it was all black. i thought that maybe there was a button or something that made me see. but there was nothing. is it supposed to be that way? or is there something wrong with my camera?

The memory stick is 256mb. Is there any other way of storing more photos without deleting the existing ones. There seem to be files but it won’t let me take any more photos.

Im just curious on what you guys think on Sony’s Cybershot line of cameras..are they good? bad? Please share you thoughts and opinions!
(I know im not being that specific but what are your general thoughts about their line, since i am thinking of getting a cybershot camera myself for both pictures and video taking)

My brother’s Cybershot T30 has better indoor & night-time qualities than mine. Does anyone know how to get similar quality on Cybershot W80?
