The two models I am most interested in right now are the SD1100IS and the SD770IS. I want to be able to record videos with alright audio. Are these two good choices for small pocket cameras?
The best deal I found on the 1100 is about $150, and the 770 at $165.
Which is the better deal?

I tried pushing the little flash button and it is on all the right settings. I thought about tatking it back for a refund, but i’ve had it for 3 months and am unsure if it is refundable. Help!!!

I personally was looking at the FinePixs5200 compared to the Powershot S2 IS? Any reason why youd pick one over the other? Also in the Powershot S3 IS upgrade that much better? Please explain why you pick what you pick. Thanks

I don’t want to spend much money. I want a very good tripod but at an efficient price. Do I need to buy my tripod from Canon. How do I know what specific type of tripod I need for this camera. How about used tripods?

I’ve also been told you can only use Sony memory cards that only work for the camera that are more expensive than others. I’m just curious if this is true or not before I go shopping. When I put other pictures from other cameras or the internet on my canon they usually cant be shown, how do I change the picture so I can use my camera as a photo-viewer for other files than just the pictures take on that camera.

so i know that the canon powershot A line cameras take a picutures in under a second (after u press click that is) but do the SD line camera’s do the same?

I seem to like Canon but I’m not sure if there are any other good brands for digital cameras. Just want some other opinions. Thanks!

I have a dsc-s500 model and the little plastic piece on the battery door has cracked. The pressure that the bateries are putting on the door is making it worse, it’s almost broken. And it’s never even been dropped! I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem with the Cybershots. Thanks.
