I can’t seem to slow it down even if some people claim it possible

Currently when I download pictures from my camera to my computer the default file names are IMG_0191.jpg with the number always incrementing. Images are stored in a folder named after a calendar date (2006_05_22). I’d like to have the jpg file name include the date by default somehow. I can’t seem to figure out how to make that happen. I’ve seen a friends canon do that though it was a different model.

This is a new camera, and i really don’t understand the instruction manual.

I try to view the videos on my friends/families computers but the video files are in MP4 format. I want them to be in an mpeg or something that can be viewed on Windows Media Player. And I also dont want to have my family go thru the hassle of downloading itunes just so they can see the videos. Any ideas on how I may be able to change the format? Ive tried almost everything!

i know it’s possible because in the mannual it shows low shutter as an option, but it doesn’t show you how to use it/ access it.
How do you change the shutter spead to low?

i want to know how to make it black & white or something.

i have a canon powershot A580, but i don’t know how to change its shutter speed, so could anyone please help me giving solution?

I have a Sony DSC-S780, wanting the firmware of a DSC-W90. Is it possible to change the firmware or something? Like the menu it has, things of that camera is better.
