I can view my camera’s photos but cant seem to drag or copy /paste from my pc to my camera.Paste option is greyed out…..=(

how can i use my canon powershot a510 take pictures using the computer screen to view the image before taking the picture

It will only tell me how to put images on my computer, not videos.

I have a canon powershot sd 1100 is and when I plug it in to my computer and I see the picture of the video and when I put in a folder, it says it is copying then when I see it, it says 0 bytes instead of 3 gb. Also I tried the card reader and it does not even register.

All of the online help keeps telling me that my computer should automatically recognize my camera through the usb port, but it doesn’t. I’ve gone to the canon website and downloaded the driver and installed it, but it still doesn’t work! I need to get my pictures! can anyone please help me?

For example, if I download a video off a website (.mpg format) and want to put it on the camera and actually be able to watch it, how do I do it?
Simply moving the file onto the camera doesn’t work, I assume because it doesn’t have a .THM file associated with it like movies you take with the camera have.

any tricks for this ?
i dont have the place to stick the memory card in and it wont let me frag and drop it into its dcim any ideas ?
