The full story is:
put card into computer and accidently clicked the button which says ok to remove all data. mom and dad will kill me!! Now if you try to view pictures it says “memory stick formatting error” and there were extremely important photos on there too! How can i fix this?

I have the cord and everything, and i just can’t find where to plug the black and yellow thingies in. Sorry i don’t really know all the mechanical terms…but if you have any idea what im talking about please help!!! thank u!

I have a Canon PowerShot A610 and a cheapo card writer that i got for under $10 at Wal-Mart. I tried to transfer the files to the card and that worked fine. But when I put the card into the camera, they aren’t picked up. There were files on the card but my camera went into low-power mode and they got erased. Did I need the folders on the camera to view the files? Can I get them back? I have a presentation to do on my photography and I was hoping to hook my camera up to the television to show my photos. Is there a way to fix this?

The software that comes with the camera doesn’t say Sony. It says Lexmark and only talks about scanning pics not transferring

i’m sure someone with a different canon powershot could help me out. the pictures upload (into iPhoto…I have a mac), but the videos always just stay on the camera and never show up anywhere on my computer. am i supposed to do something special for them to show up?

My Canon Powershot A610 is connected to my computer with a USB cord but the computer isn’t registering that it is in. The camera doesn’t require a CD and should automatically work. I also went to Scanners and cameras to add it but it isn’t on the list.
