I want to make the subject pop out with a large aperture.

Yes,of course you can. But, you will need to download a recovery program to do it.
I have posted a free recovery program (link below). It seems to work quite well at retrieving images.
You will need a card reader…

Does it get good footage in dark places? Because I am going to use it to record in a VERY dark arena in a horse stable. Thanks!

I also have a 2 GB memory stick in my Cybershot camera and I get at least 465 pictures and I even have it on the 10mm size pictures! Video do take a lot of the memory though, so usually I just upload my videos right away and then erase them from my camera.

Well not too long ago, I bought the sony cybershot h50. it works great and everything. but there is one thing that concerns me. when I first put my eye in the viewfinder i saw nothing. it was all black. i thought that maybe there was a button or something that made me see. but there was nothing. is it supposed to be that way? or is there something wrong with my camera?

I know I have the line to put it up and the right software except I don’t know which place in my camera to hook up the line. I can’t find it. Can anyone help me? I know if I can find out the shape and size of the place where i’m supposed to plug into to, but i don’t know the size or shape. Can someone please help me?

Can the camera be powered by a AC adapter? If this works, then the problem is likely with the battery. You mentioned that the warranty had expired, so that you may have this camera for some time. Rechargeable batteries do wear-out over time and may hold little or no charge at the end of its useful life…reference the wikipedia article on rechargeable batteries:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lithium_ion…
If you have the same problem when the camera is powered directly using the AC adapter, then the problem would be with the camera itself.
