Viewing the pictures is fine, but when I switch to camera mode there are a series of clicks and the screen is shaky and black…any help will do…leaving for vacation Friday and would like to get this working. I already replaced the batteries and deleted everything off the memory card, so it’s not that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I heard they’re really good, but not sure what to get. I don’t need more than 10 megapixels because I heard MP is overrated anyway, but I want at least 6 or 7 MP. I also don’t want to spend more than $150. What should I get? Thanks

I have a SX20 IS and would like to know how to take long exposure shots at sunset. It works at night, but at sunset, it is too bright and the photo turns out completely white.
I prefer to use Manual (M) mode, because I can change Aperture and Shutter speed

It’s been a great camera for two years, and then today when I try to turn it on, it just shows the “startup” screen image, then beeps like three times, then turns back off. I charged the battery just to make sure, but it’s still doing the same thing! Is my camera broken?!

I have researched them both online and still haven’t come to a decision. I have tried to go to a couple stores to try them out but all the cameras had no batteries at all the stores. Silly, if you ask me.

I’m doing an expirement, and I need to turn off the white balance feature of my digital camera, so it captures the image exactly as it sees it, without any adjustments. How do I?

I know it will hold around 250-300 pictures, but just curious if I can take a *decent* amount of video with it if I don’t want to take my camcorder with me somewhere.

some cameras actually let you do some minor editing, but i’m afraid that one doesn’t.
