   There are a number of possible problems, but the bottom line is that your camera is not producing pictures.
   It could be the lens cap stuck shut (you probably already checked that), the exposure sensor is giving the shutter the wrong information, the image sensor itself is shot, or there is something blocking the lens inside.
   If the camera is within warranty, contact Sony to get it replaced. If it isn’t, it is most likely easier and cheaper to buy a new camera than getting it fixed.
   One last thing. Have you checked these pictures by taking pictures and trying to view the card on a computer? If images show up on the computer but not the camera screen, then it’s the screen’s fault, but more likely it’s the camera itself.
