absolutely no cons the pros include everything from a 3 1/2″ screen a total of 4 buttons on the entire camera being the zoom button, the shutter button, the power button, and a button to switch back and forth between the mode where u take pictures and the mode where you view pictures everything else is done on the touch screen…the 5 times zoom is excellent, the smile shutter feauture is crazy which is a feature in which a picture is taken when the camera recognizes a smile so theres no need to press the shutter button and 8 megapixels not 7 like the dude a couple of messages up said…believe u me there difference between 7 n 8 is very distincs and the touch screen is 230,000 pixels itself making the tiny preview of you picture as much hi definition as it would look on your computer and speakin of high defition theres an additional hd cable you can buy to view your slideshows in upto 1080i as well as listen to any of upto 4 songs u can store in the camera to play back with the slideshow…i got the camera on the 8th as an early birthday present and im still learning new things i can do with it plus its extremely compact which means u can put it in ur pocket and it definately wont bother u so like i said all pros no cons definately worth it if u dont mind the $400 dollar price tag…you can even send me an email on my yahoo account and i will send you a picture or two ive taken so you can see im not exaggerating and let me not forger to mention the camera records videos is excellent quality

The shutter speed is absolutely excellent. This is a great camera and a great choice. But if you’re worried about money, you can go for a much less expensive Sony Cyber-shot model — the DSC-W50 ($180). It is an equally good camera. It has 6 megapixels vs the 7 with your choice, 2.4-in LCD screen vs the 3-in with your choice, and it actually has a bigger flash range at 14 ft vs 11 ft with your choice. Something’s gotta give, I would say go with the less expensive one, especially since your choice is around $450!!

It’s too tiny for me to handle. I believe you over pay for what you’re getting. Biggest bang for my bucks would be a regular compact camera. I have nothing against Sony in fact I love my CyberShot that has 12X optical zoom; no it’s not tiny. But it certainly isn’t as large as a digital SLR either.
In fact in any of your major brands I would choose a regular compact over tiny, tiny.

    Vintage Music is right.
That said, it is a good looking, full featured camera.

The only reason I would not consider it is because it uses propratary memory cards. SD memory cards are the defacto standard in compact digital cameas and Sony’s Memory Stick, while having a catchy name, can only be used on other Sony cameras and some of its other products.
    That is too bad.
