They all do Video (except R1)
They all virtually have carl zesis lens for great photos
They all connect with a usb cable
they are
R1 .. is more of a bridge camera between DSLR, big professional and the best for photos (has a large Cmos sensor, rather than CCD)
H series take (aa batteries (some models)) have 12 to 15x zoom for taking photos of long distance objects and have image stableisation
W series are a rugged compact size for outdoor use
T series are the ultra thin and fit into your pocket very desireable
S series have a wider angle field and takes AA batteries.
I myself have had the Sony Cybershot T7, which i upgraded to a Dsc S600 because i like using AA batteries i have rechargable which last for ages, and mine has been with me to Aisa and the US in 45c heat
its a really good camera. both of my friends have them and they are amazing. it takes videos. it has really really really good quality.
