If so, you paid nearly $200 for a P&amp;S camera.  Why would you even think of shooting at less than the 8 mp setting.  If you really only needed a 5 mp or 3 mp camera, you could have saved a lot of money.
The 3:2 number is the image ratio (DSLR and 35 mm SLR camera use this ratio) ... it is used if you want to make 4x6 prints without the lab cropping them.  The 16:9 is the ratio for wide screen TV&#039;s and the 4:3 ratio is what most P&amp;S cameras use.</description>
