Have you tried recording audio/video with the camera in a test situation for something approximating the time you plan to shoot to know the quality you will get and whether you can offload and play it back ok.
Test now before you go, so you’re not disappointed if there’s a glitch…
Have you confirmed these specs work? “A variety of movie-making options With a highly flexible movie mode, you can create the movie that’s perfect for any application. Select from VGA (640 x 480 pixels) with frame rates of 30 fps and 30 fps LP, also QVGA (320 x 240 pixels) with frame rates of 60 fps and 30 fps for recording up to 1 hour or 4GB. With the S5 IS, seamless movie shooting is easy — just by pressing the Movie button without switching to shooting mode. The PowerShot S5 IS supports the USB 2.0 Hi-Speed standard, so you’ll enjoy the fastest possible data transfer speeds when using a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed compatible computer.”
Note the time length and memory capacity the mfr is quoting.
Again, test quality now – not for the 1st time at the concert/event – blast some music at home and have some of your friends talk and jump around at the same time to simulate the sounds and interference & movements you might want to capture at the event.
Did you read the User Manual to see what it says about memory card size and length of videos that it can handle?
When in doubt – take a video cam to record video, and not a still image capture optimized camera with a kluge video app.

Look in your manual, it will be towards the back.
I just took my 16G card out of my canon FS100 flash camcordr and put it in my canon A570IS and it worked fine.
When it’s in my camcorder, it will do 3 hrs of video but I don’t think my battery will last that long.
Also see how long your camera shoots video, mine only shoots 60 seconds at a time. The video is good quality though.
