I just got this camera and the memory card it came with only holds fifteen pictures. I need a better one that will hold at least 80. Any ideas?

A 1GB SD memory card is a good minimum sized capacity. It will allow up to 300 high quality (superfine/large) images.
You may think this is much too big, but it’s a sensible size because it will also allow room to record high quality ‘movies’ (which consume around 1.7Mb per second).
A high speed card is best for fast camera performance and especially when shooting high quality movies.
Sandisk Ultra II SD, is my recommendation. It’s super fast, reliable and dirt cheap.
A 1GB card should cost you less than $20. An even better buy is the 2GB version, which will only cost you around $3 more.
So, I say get the 2GB instead. You never know when that extra capacity will come in handy.
Please read you user manual in regards to formatting the card…

That’s easy, the one Canon Power Shot manual recommends………..”when all else fails read the manual”.

Buy a nice 1GB SD card (about $15) … buy two if you can afford it.
