i need to choose between Cannon IXUS and Sony Cybershot DSC-T900/S and its come down to detailed specs and lens quality and i cannt really figure it out..please suggest the better choice.
..also if there is any other camera option between 18-25K range which allows HD movie recording please suggest.

frankly speaking, the t series is more like a lifestyle product because of its slim body. the initial models had flaws like avg picture qualities and weak flashes. that has changed tho. for me, the touch screen is actually a drawback. i like the normal buttons. as far as picture quality goes, the canon is better. and yes. if you dont mind going for a grey market purchase, the price will be MUCH lesser..
If you hold a gun and point it to my face to force me to choose one, i will definately choose canon. But, if you ask me for a opinion, i wont buy both of it, i will go and get sony wx-1.it is a better choice.with handheld twilight,you will get frustrated free image during night time. Highly acclaimed G lens and a lot of it, worth to go for sony wx-1.
Canon ISUX 200 IS will be the better choice.
