Do you recommend another?
I want a camera that is good for the money.
I’m into amateur photography, but I don’t want a
DSLR. I want a small easy camera with great quality.
Mainly for self portraits.
Any recommendations?

SD1100 has image stabilization which helps to reduce blur in pictures. I’d get SD1100 instead of SD1000. Canon A590 IS is another option. It gives you full control of the camera.
how much are you willing to spend?
i suggest the g10 or the g9 (if you can still find one)
